North Attleborough Historical Society

Meetings

Open to the Public

The society holds 7 meetings a year in the months of September, October, November, January (or February if postponed due to snow), March, April and May. A presentation on some subject thought to be of interest to the membership is presented at each meeting. These include lectures and slide shows of local history and events such as recent presentations on Jolly Cholly amusement park and changes in the villages of Attleboro Falls and Oldtown and lectures on subjects of general interest such as antiques, old homes and architecture, New England Lighthouses and World War I Welcome Home celebrations in Massachusetts. Refreshments are served after the presentation.

All meetings are free and open to the public and are held in the Little Red Schoolhouse next door to the Woodcock Garrison House 362 North Washington Street.

Annual Meeting

May is the annual meeting of the organization and includes a business meeting, election of officers and luncheon along with the presentation.
