Community Yard Sale

Once again, the community yard sale is on a holiday weekend. WHY???  Because a board member has tickets to UD homecoming on the weekend that was suggested, October 18.  WOW, THE NEEDS OR WISHES OF ONE PERSON--ONE PERSON--TRUMPS THE the whole community.

AND ONCE AGAIN I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE BECAUSE I AM OUT OF TOWN!!!

This guy better be actually participating in the yard sale because if he isn't WHO CARES IF HE HAS TICKETS TO A STUPID FOOTBALL GAME.

The Gestapo better not delete this post.  I will just continue to post it.

No replies to this post?  I guess no one really cares.  According to the Christina School district calendar, students will have off on October 10th and 13th.  I wonder if more than a few families might go on a fall trip.

This person is right.  We need to stop scheduling community yard sales on holiday weekends, in order to give the entire community a chance to participate.

Are you refering to Columbus Day as the holiday? If so since when do people not only celebrate this day but who goes on vacation just for Culumbus Day? I think the only people who celebrate Columbus Day are the stores that have sales and that can hardly be called celebrating a holiday lol. If you want the yard sale on another day attend the board meetings and help them plan the next one. Laughing
