I am looking for any antique or old photos of the neighborhood. I am also looking for photos and history of 1504 46th Street. I am interested in seeing what the neighborhood looked like in the olden days and what the house and gardens looked like in the 20s or thereafter.
If you have photos I might copy, please email me at mockster@earthlink.net. Thank you!
What a Great Site , should be used more!!

History of Waveland Park

As part of developing the Waveland Park Action Plan, the planning committee is also looking for information on he history of Waveland Park. I will keep an eye out for anything related to 46th Street... An article seeking help from persons interested in neighborhood history is in the current issue of the WPNA newsletter, which should be getting out to homes now by ''block captain'' delivery. If you don't get your newsletter, please let us know. Maybe people with an interest in neighborhod history will be at the ''Spring Fling'' on April 23rd and some organized efforts to gather such info will get underway.
Old Photos

If you find any old photos of the neighborhood, my parents live at 1629 46th and would also be very interested in seeing some.
Thanks!!!
