You are doing a great job!

Thanks for the kind words - they are much appreciated!!

Some of the post do not look acceptable but who am I.

If you see a post you don't think is appropriate - it's mean-spririted, has profanity, anything along that line, please use the "Report" link you'll see below each post. First, that will affect that posters Respect-o-Meter rating, and second, it gives the Flagging System the opportunity to remove posts which need to be removed.

As a coordinator, I no longer feel any sense of privacy for my local neighborhood knowing that the whole country would be able to see our soap opera, literally.

With that said, I have deleted many posts that I feel contained too much personal informations for myself as well as for my neighbors.  The posts are gone, but the topic headers remained.  This is a bug and should be taken care of.

Yes, I agree with many people that it should be all about LOCAL, not national.  I also agree that due to security reasons, anonymous should continue be allowed with certain restrictions like a button for people to report inappropriate languages, etc.  Anonymous posting would also help one neighbor to point out the other's fault or wrong doings without creating a neighbor's war, if you know what I mean. It's up to the coordinator to determine if such postings are relevant or not.

Coordinators should be held responsible (rating system) based on the quality of their discussion forums, since they are "moderators" and have ability to delete inappropriate posts without any intervention from website staff.

Well, I'm surprised there are no inputs from the staff, particularly on deleted posts but headers remained.  Let me reply to own post to see if this thread would pump to top of the page for everyone to see.

If it doesn't go to top, then this is a bug & needs to be fixed.  I mean once a post becomes old, it would sink to the bottom even if new replies are added, and no one would be able to find it again unless they click and click and click through all 10, 20, 30 pages of the new posts.

OK, good, it went to the top of the discussion.  Sorry to mention this as a bug.
