MAIL - IDENTITY THEFT ALERT

Posted in: Neighborhood Association Advisory Group
The Sacramento Police day watch team would like to remind you that there have been a series of mail thefts and identity cloning crimes in our area. Some key arrests were made recently in the midtown area. Suspects were caught bleaching victims checks stolen from mail boxes and depositing them into local banks where accounts had been established or attempting to cash them.

DO NOT PLACE BILL PAYMENTS IN YOUR PORCH MAIL BOX! It's suggested you give directly to route carrier, drop in curb side US Mail Boxes, take them to the post office or mail from your office.
