*sigh*

I'm not sure what is with all the negativity around here. You, as a home owner have a stake in the future of our community.

I've been to a couple of board meetings and the home owners meetings (with the new board staff) and they are working hard to improve our community, and strengthen the HOA.

These things will help fill some of the empty houses in the neighborhood *AND* improve our property values.

I don't think the disolution of the HOA is a viable solution to the situation.

I didn't attend the last community meeting, but I believe they announced the potential of bringing in a regulated management company to take some of the burdon of dues collection and code enforcement. This will free up time of all board members to work on more community building tasks. Such as neighborhood block parties, and things like the chilli cookoff, community cleanup day, and the long term projects like landscaping and the like.

There is more to our HOA than just the code enforcement.

Actually I don't have your number. I am well aware that you met with the Board and I am also well aware of city code and ORC (Ohio Revised Code). So I don't really have any questions for you. I have met with an HOA lawyer this summer and I am certain that he is much more versed in the law than either you or I. I asked him the important questions (drafted by the Board) regarding our community. We are a legitimate HOA and if you want to dissolve it (as I stated before) it takes a vote of the entire membership of the community. The forum is for the betterment of this community. Most of the people who use it do so with this in mind. Despite your negative opiinion of not only this Board but the previous one, we are at least doing everything we can to improve the community. If you put half as much time into improving the community as you do complaining about it. There would be nothing left to fix.
