I was just wondering if anyone else received the flyer on their doors about the ''Student Safety Service'' that offers to paint your house number on the curb in front of your house? I work for the Fire Dept and while I think that this is a good idea, I wanted to be sure that it is ok with the association that this is done. I do not want to be responsible for having it removed if it is not approved.

Sounded fishy to me

I also got the flyer and at first I thought it was from the HOA. It was a tad misleading upon first glance. I will also pass on this ''service''.

They ran from my door as the dogs tried to eat them up through the glass.
I hate soliciting. I work from home quite a bit and it's amazing how many people ring the bell during the day. That's one reason I have my dogs in the house with me. They are a very good deterrent since most of the people that come around ignore the NO Soliciting Sign. Besides it's just too dangerous these days to open your door to stangers.
