I have spoken here before to say I would welcome NAED as my cable provider! Most recently there has been confusing press coverage regarding NAED's efforts to offer a choice in cable companies to the residents of our town. The electric department has just issued an informational packet that helped me to understand the process including the reason for needing a bond. Info on CableTV & NAED Helpful

Thanks for the hint about the links to the Cable info packet. It is a large file to open, tho! But worth the wait and web space. Just a quick look answered some of my questions. I agree with the survey - I want a choice other than AT&T, and I want NAED to provide it. They have demonstrated their ability and community spirit through their electric service to N.Attleborough already. They have my vote!

I agree with ''anonymous'' about wanting a choice of providers but I am biased since I am one of your electric commissioners. What is happening with the Cable

Wondering where the issue has gone...is the Electric Department still pursuing this as another service for its customers? If they can reduce the rates for my electricity, I bet they can keep the cable rates low!
