I could not agree more, the police should be clearing the loiterers from the corner of Main & Merrick every chance they get. After the vigin a cruiser came down the road, MSS all went inside Roses, the cruiser passed and they all walked back outside. It doesn't work when the business encourage poor behavior. This is another reason I will not spend money @ A&G market or forciers, they both sell ciggaretts 3 for a dollar ( against the law) A&G sells 1 inch zip lock bags called Jewelry bags, they have a board hanging with hundreds, why not just call them crack bags. Places that encourage or profit of poor behavior to not wnjoy a penny of my money. I drive to Stop & Shop in Prov on Branch ave for a Gallon of milk.If they continually cater to less than desirable elements, they get what they deserve when they get robbed of product and or cash like Forciers did a few times last year. I am anot afraid of my neighborhood, I am fearful of what my neighborhood will look like if they start selling liquor at the bottom of my street.

We just have to work together to make our neighborhoods safe and dry...Bar hopping and domestic violence too high in Woodlawn and Pawtucket

YES I Will. The WNA Board of Directors has moved it's monthly meeting up from the 12th to the 5th to discuss our plan of action. I hope more than just Woodlawn neighborhoods show up and pack the City Council chamber. Right now it's Woodlawn, maybe next it's down on East avenue, or division st, or pinecrest. We need to let them know giving out Liquor licenses to these little hole in the walls will not solve our deficit & what it will do is increase the drain on our Police Fire & rescue Departments. The Pawtucket police is already handling over 200 calls a day...this is UNREAL
