Hello:  If any of you could give me any advise, all would be appreciated.

I was walking my dog today at lunch, as I do everyday, in my neighborhood of Musgrave-Pennington.  If he ever poops in someones yard, I always pick it up.  He was urinating in this woman's yard (about the age of 80) and her and (I am assuming) her daughter (about age 60) came over to me and started hitting my dog in the face while holding grocery bags.  She yelled dont let your dog SH** in my yard.  And I told her to stop hitting him, he was peeing (he goes like a girl) and then she raised her hand/bag to my face like she was going to hit me.  We obviously left after I told her not to touch me or my dog again, or I was going to call the police.  She called me stupid and yelled inappropriate things at me as we walked away.    I am writing you to see if anyone knew of ANYTHING I can do, I already tried to file a police report and the officer basically said I was wasting his time.  At this time (I had to return to work) there are not sustainable injuries (that I am aware of) and if there arent any then I cant charge animal abuse on her.   Thank you for your time, and Please let me know if there is anything further to do, than stay out of her yard (which of course I will do now).   Thank you!

I also live in Musgrave-Pennington.  One of the things I enjoy the most about this neighborhood is watching the folks go up and down my street walking their dogs.

It is nice to see something that is not "electronically enhanced" these days.  Such a great, healthy, normal activity.  And even tho I am NOT a dog owner, I do know one thing.  Everybody POOPS!  Get a grip folks.  It is Not radioactive, and does NOT give anyone the right to accost a person or abuse one of God's creatures.

Thank God your puppy is OK! The best advise I can give you is to get down on your knees and thank God YOU are NOT that kind of person!!!  What a sad existance they must have.

Thank you for your kind words!!  I appreciate it and will just attempt to stay away from that woman's yard.
