Treatment started
I started day one of 28 of my treatment with Revlimid and Steroids last night. I take 40 mg of Steroids 10 pills on day 1, and the same dosage every 7 days for the 28 day peroid. I take 1 Revlimid a day for 21 days and then a week off.The length of the treatments will be determined by the results.
This is 1/3 the dosage I took on the clinical trials, so hopefully I will be able to sleep this time.
There is quite a process to go through because the Medication has to be sent to you via Fedx or to your doctor as the will not ship them to a pharmacy.
They also want to know every medication you are taking and why as well as they call you with all kinds of questions that you must answer or you are not qualified.
There will be blood tests weekly plus another one when I see the doctor every 2 weeks for a while.
Nothing better to do this kind of weather so lets get it on and hope it works.
