Yes, it's bad anytime a business closes, but in this case it comes as no surprise. The quality of the food and service has never been consistant. Turn over has always been a problem as I understand Ms Meeker is no fun to work for. The place has been subsidized since the beginning by the well healed investor/owners. Former judge Weaver has been employed as a cook there for some time, so I guess he's out of work again. Yes, it's bad anytime a business closes, but in this case it comes as no surprise. According to the journal, Ms Meeker has not been involved in the operation of the restaurant for some time, but maybe the journal is wrong?
