I forgot to mention-
The last of any of these great old American beauties we owned was a 58 Oldsmobile and another we have not seen since we sold her, was a 57 sunliner. It was such a beautiful car too with a green tinted glass roof that went all the way across the top from side to side and just over halfway back. I'd hate to have to replace one of those with todays prices.
I'm informrd now that we had a Sun valley and a Star fire, Ford/Merc and Olds were the best back then. I cannot forget that huge glass roof. We did have a big black Ford like the one Perry Mason drove, or was that Paul. Oh well they were great cars.
