In order to have an intelligent "discussion" in the "neighborhood", it is very important that we define our terms.  (Something liberals find to be too tedious)  We need to define these words especially if we are going to use terms like idiot.

(Something liberals find to be too tedious)

You know you have no basis for this.   Just another excuse for a gratuitous swipe at liberals.

Just so we all know what we actually mean, traditionally in psychology, an "idiot" has an IQ between 0 and 25, "imbeciles" have an IQ between 26 and 50, and 51 to 70 are classified as "morons".

I think, make that know, my IQ would compare quite favorably with anyone on this forum.   But there's no point in pursuing it because we can all lie.

I would guess that TP and Mallory and Repub. are probably more likely morons than idiots, as idiots are probably computer illiterate.

These terms have become politically incorrect and have been replaced by other terms which have now also become politically incorrect and have been replaced with new terms (for the time being).

Why go to the tedious task of giving us these definitions when they are no longer used?

Uh, you really do have reading comprehension problems, right???

The definitions are still quite applicable.  It's not the "definitions" that are no longer used, it's the "terms" that are no longer supposed to be used by the politically correct.  But we notice that some on this forum actually do use them don't we..  I grow tired.

If the definations are still quite applicable, what is the definition of person with an IQ between 0 and 25 if you can't use the term "idiot"?

I'm feeling stronger and stronger about this.   At least when compared to active members.

We'll have to wait to see where the "Professor" fits in.
