Muscatine

Now mind you, I'm not complaining, but our friends Mallory and Mobay have disappeared at the same time.  This leads me to consider the following explanations.....

1.  Mobe took her off to Vegas and they are getting married in some Elvis chapel by a guy in a rhinestone jacket.

2.  They were finally carried off in that spaceship that Mobe was always worried about.

3.  Mallory finally decided it was time to move out of her parent's basement, moved into Mobe's trailer, but since he hasn't paid the electric bill since the Carter administration, their laptop died.

4.  Ned ran 'em both over with his scooter.

5.  They defected to another Neighborhood Link site, and we'll get the blame.

6.  They heard that Switzerland has made "Nonsensical gibberish" their official language, and moved there to beat the rush.

7.  Janitor and HiRoad convinced them that the end of the world scare is real, but is going to happen June 4th, so they went to Disneyland to spend their life savings.

There is of course another more obvious answer. 

8.  They're the new spokespersons for M and M's.

Come on Daryl.  When was the last time anyone in the neighborhood was convinced of anything by anyone else in the neighborhood?  (With the exception of the intramural type convincing between M, M, TP, and Repubabub).

I'd vote for the more plausable ideas that they are attending a liberal talking points refresher course in San Francisco; or are helping bring some more undocumented voters across the border; or are checking out that Wisconsin democrat resort area in Illinois.
