I just heard on a business show today that in 2005 there were 800 govt employees that received more than $100,000 per yr and in 2009 that number rose to 18,000 govt workers receiving more than $100,000 per yr. That is 17,200 folks that got some helacious wage increases. Where can I apply?
The wage increases could have been very small. There would need to be no increases in employment. The salaries for 17,200 could have gone from $99,000 to $100,000. A 1% increase. I think you should recheck your figures anyway. They're probably off by a factor of at least 10. |
