"now under the excuse of being conservative the Iowa Legislature hasn't even set themselves a budget." My, my, the democratically controlled white house, House of Representative and Senate couldn't manage to put together a budget for the United States of America and tried to make it seem like all the budget bullsh*t was the fault of the Republicans, so the Iowa Legislature has had the path shown to them by the boys in D.C. So maybe they will be able to show the democrats in a bad light as a result. I prefer that they take their time and give the gov a decent budget. I can see that you believe that just throwing together any old thing is acceptable. We can only pray that you never run for office. |

As usual Big Brother Bigot, I feel that I must correct your information.I just looked up when the session ended last year. It was very interesting that the 2010 Session ended the end of March. That means the session ended One Full Month early. Saving the State of Iowa a lot of money.2009 also ended on time. In 2005 the session ran a month over, the Republicans were in charge. One more thing I am flattered that you think I am Nathan. I would be very honored to be him. He has a great brain, has a wonderful speaking ability, and got things done for Muscatine and Iowa. Why the Fire Station that is being built is a fine example.

Oh...you wish to be "date-specific" as opposed to "issue-specific"! (BTW...The name thing is a relative thingy...and not so flattering from my perspective!) If a legislative session ends early; then, are we not being cheated? You seem to think if it goes over, we are being rammed up the arse...but it they leave early and do not decide on things pending...are we not equally being up-arsed?
Last year, they opted to stay over due to Palm Sunday and not wanting to meet then. So how did that separation of church and state thingy make its way into the dem-controlled legislature last year? I thought churchy issues could have no impact on legislation issues? LMAO!!!!!!! he he he he he he

So..you can't have it both ways, nathan! Read it and weep!
Have you checked why the Dem-controlled Senate has allowed any delay this time, brightboy? |
