If you really wanted to be fair, then you'd acknowledge knowing the "mission accomplished" banner was for the carrier he was on, who had just finished its 10 month tour of duty. Ultimately, while Bush never said the last combat troops had left Iraq, unlike your muslim pres, we know terror attacks there escalated, and even more troops were sent. Remember later, nobama being forced into admitting the troop surge you liberals hated had worked? Loved that one!

However, at that juncture, major combat operations HAD ended. I know you don't like the truth, davieboy, but what happened next in Iraq, no one knew or could fortell. Not even you, brightboy. The future changes. But alas; nobama lied out and out...as we see combat troops dying everyday since his (absolute) declaration that the last combat troops had left Iraq; when they had not.
