Really?...the 2nd amendment also does not say I can't have a machine gun or canon either, for my home defense, brightboy! Or that I cannot carry any weapon of my choosing concealed or otherwise, out in public!
So, we agree, the second amendment doesn't prevent regulation of both the types of ammunition and weapons that we can own or used.
You are the one who mentioned the Second Amendment, nothing in the Iowa Dept of Natural Resources said squat about the amendment. This whole deal concerned the use of lead-based ammo and fishing tackle to protect Iowa's Natural Resouces - nothing about who could have a gun or what kind - just no ammo with lead. You read something into that whole thing that wasn't there or even inferred, but because Hiroad posted it you were certain it had all the elements of being something that you should oppose.
