Huh????

Obama (Dec., 2007): ‘President Does Not Have Power Under Constitution to Unilaterally Authorize a Military Attack’

As a presidential candidate, Sen. Barack Obama (D.-Ill.) emphatically stated that the Constitution does not give the president the authority to unilaterally authorize a military attack unless it is needed to stop an actual or imminent attack on the United States.

They made Bush go before Congress to have legislation authorizing war. Then they made his admin go before the UN Security council. Then, liberals called the wars in Iraq and Afghan illegal wars! And on, and on, and on!

So, now we have nobama, the US president from kenya, who has made premptive missle strikes into Pakistan, now making strikes against Libya! And he never went before Congress or the UN to ask permission.

What authority does the liberal's president have, to be able to do these things? Can any of you liberals answer that? I asked before; but you libs keep running and hiding and won't answer. Surely, these strikes cannot be illegal, can they?

He has sent notice to Congress within the 48 hours of beginning military actions as required by the war powers act.

He must now cease operations within 60 days unless congress approves.

That appears to be legal for now.   Perhaps not the best situation but legal.

I know you are lying...but it is funny how Bush was not given the same parameters! Legal; really? Congress has not been involved! How can it be legal???

As I mentioned in an earlier post, in Dec. 2007 Obumbler said it was illegal!   I say again, "huh?"
