Tonight, President Obama will deliver a “healing message,” in Tucson, AZ at a memorial service for those who died in the tragic shooting there this weekend. The somber service, which is expected to attract up to 14,000 people, will feature prayers, the playing of the National Anthem, as well as reverent remarks from various officials from both sides of the aisle.

At around the same time, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) will be slinging back cocktails with members of the Republican National Committee at a political party he’s hosting at the swanky National Harbor resort in the suburbs of D.C..

The RNC should have rescheduled as a matter of good taste.

Gee, I don't know Kenn.  Maybe the same kind of mindset that keeps the History Channel from airing a highly anticipated mini-series on the Kennedy family because it shows them in a realistic light.  Power takes many forms. 

I've read that they make up things that never happened to give it more appeal.   Almost sounds like a Murdock production or maybe Breitbach and O'Keefe.

On further review, I find it was produced by Joel Surnow who Wikipedia describes as a "close friend of Rush Limbaugh".   I wonder if that explains anything
