"Incidentally, for your information, when you register somebody in Iowa, you're not allowed to throw away any you think or know are frauds, even Mickey Mouse.   That's the County Auditor's job.

Although it's happened.   One party does a voter registration drive and coveniantly decides all who registered in another party must have done so fraudulently, so they are all thrown out.   That is fraud."

Rather strong accusation.  I'd be interested to read the court documents.

Give me a list of all the ACORN employees who were convicted for corruptioin or being thugs.    I think if you use fact based sources you'll find they're hard to find.   You're just repeating some right wingers BS.

Here's a few stories on it, malladjusted...convictions noted on some links; investigations noted on others: (Maybe you can keep your blind eye on it...or maybe just pretend the links don't work like you did on nedl's post)

First link.   "one of the few"

Second link. No conviction

Third link. Apparently paying canvassers for each registration is illegal in Nevada.   Is that universal?   I never heard of it in Iowa.

Foruth link.   "at least 15"

Fifth link. Duplicate

Sixth link.  A guy registered by ACORN was convicted of voter fraud.   Doesn't say what he did.   Maybe tried to vote twice.   Maybe in wrong precinct.   But what does that have to do with ACORN?   If you apply that rule, anyone registered by the Republican Party who voted in the wrong precinct would make the Republican Party guilty of fraud.

Seventh link.  Duplicate.

Eighth link.   30, but pretty vague what they did.

So you've come up with maybe 15 convictions, and maybe 30 out of 400,000 members of ACORN.   Hell, you could find almost that many among the Republican Members of Congress if anybody really looked.

All your sources are, as one would expect, right wing publications.   That does't help your creditability.

Incidentally, for your information, when you register somebody in Iowa, you're not allowed to throw away any you think or know are frauds, even Mickey Mouse.   That's the County Auditor's job.

Although it's happened.   One party does a voter registration drive and coveniantly decides all who registered in another party must have done so fraudulently, so they are all thrown out.   That is fraud.

I assure you neither Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse have ever voted in Iowa.

Atta girl....don't let a few pesky facts stand in the way of a good bias.

I'd be interested too but I'm not going to search for them.

Not all frauds result in convictions or are even prosecuted or even become public.

I always hate to ask for clarification when these nonsensical comments are made, but what pesky facts do you think may have stood in my way?
