I think selfish and unselfish define the differences better.

We can then do away with the liberal and conservative modifiers to components of the Democrats and Republicans.   You wouldn't have to define yourself as a conservative Republican.

well if you would have read the original post you would understand that the left/right does not exist in washington because they have been bought and paid for by the corporations. the only ones talking left/right is the media and they are using the left/right to distract sheeple from the real fight which is we the people against corporate giants. they have sent our manufacturing overseas, allow illegal immigration to run wild, continue outrageous spending, bailed out wall street, socialized our health system. who benefitted from all that, not we the people.  here watch this and tell me this is just a joke.

george carlin, the elite and the American dream

Carlin was a very funny guy.....until all the drugs he did started to catch up with him and he started to take himself seriously. 

Malodery:  If you would bother to do some research, before you post, you would save yourself some embarrassment.  All studies that I have found have shown that liberals are much less generous than conservatives.  The only thing liberals are generous with are other people's money!  These findings extend back over the years.  Just one example:
