Charles Potter will TRULY be missed. He was an excellant reporter and one decent human being. I join the many who wish him well. "they" may think he is average, but those will be tough shoes to fill.

I'll bet that they are going to fill Charles' position. I talked to Ron Edwin before he retired, and, Ron told me that his position had already been taken over by a part-timer that they already had. I'll bet that, that part-timer will also fill Charles' position! KWPC, from 5pm until 5am was already symulcast (sp?). Maybe almost everything will be that way. The Muscatine Journal is printed at the QC Times, and, is not proof-read, before it's printed. Maybe shortly, there just won't be any "local" news anymore. Shackman.
