Nobama Peace Prize?

So...he gets the Nobel Peace Prize "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples".

 

Let's take a look at things....All Presidents take office and begin serving on January 20th. The (Norwegian) Nobel Committee Prize website relates that the committee must receive nominations for the prize postmarked no later than February 1st of each year.

 

So...they are trying to tell the world that this loser strengthened Intl diplomacy and cooperation in 12 days time? Simply amazing! And he never even left the country in those first 12 days either.

 

 

 

It's a lot like other elections, it's not how popular you are when you get the nomination, it's when the vote is made that counts.

Well, Yassir Arafat got the Nobel peace prize in, I think, 1994.   Jimmy Carter, and then Al Gore!! for God's sake.  Now Obama!!!   It was a real joke; now it's become an abomination.  I get this yuckky vision of those Norwegian judges sitting around a table with that "tingle running up their legs".

The big wing ding and acceptance speach party will probably be kind of like watcing the MTV awards!  I say "probably" because I never have watched those either.

Has the whole world gone mad?

BB, the Journal today has an article entitled "AP analysis:" A rather lengthy article extolling all of his non-accomplishments - seriously!

The article ends with this sentence "The Nobel committee, it seems, had the audacity to hope that he'll eventually produce a record worthy of its prize."

I heard some comments on TV tonite that basically the prize was given to nobama as a slap in the face to Bush. I guess I wonder how nobama would have reacted to 9/11. If his inability to make any kind of decision about McCrystal's request for troops is any indication . . .

Now if the big "O" could send our troops more help as fast, instead of dragging his big a$$ feet while they die.


Well he has more pressing issues..than to worry about our soldiers....like begging for the olympics, and his peace prize...sending reinforcements may jeoprodize his prize...aqnd god forbid that happen....
