If Ryan was the only candidate running I would vote for Barney Fife.  I would not waste my vote on any candidate with the chauvinistic attitude he has towards women.

Bstrong what the hell are you talking about.  RYAN recommended a female to lead the certain aspects of the department.  Ryan treats everyone the same, male, or female.  If you work hard and apply yourself you will succeed no matter what gender you are that is his view.  DEDICATION and HARD WORK is all it takes.

my vote..........retroactive..........Dick Oppelt for Sheriff, and his Deputies Lynn Hart (I believe), and Bill Cole. Anyone remember THE GOOD OLD BOY DAYS?!??!!? I remember somethiing about a Red Bishop (?) on the Cedar River that had "card games & bootlegging". I think I may have been there to "purchase". Come on oldtimers of my age............60. Yeah, I remember Dick. I remember MJ, a bootlegger that lived down Stewert road somewhere. Was only there once. I remember sheriff Anson. Used to hang out with a couple of his boys. Johnny Cotrell was a city cop. Busted me for reckless driving once. Couldn't catch me that night though. Came to my house the next day. Can't remember all the names anymore.
