Geez golly wow, davie; you called Kennedy a moron; now you assert that Lilsmom is a moron?

You might have overstepped yourself there. You sure are letting your emotions cause you to be more and more insulting lately.

Good afternoon,

Tis it another day like any other, or are we willing to move ahead in this world of worries and wonder?

Howdy there Curious, I gotta give you points for conspiratory analysis, I'm a tad flattered at being given spillin and punktualitie credit. But "Chosen" I am not, nor is any other of earth save one. (unless I missed somethin)Then too, it's not uncivil or illegal to emulate or remark to and or from another's posts. Be that as agreeable or disagreeable. So with all due respect to everyone or anyone who might be other than who or what they say they are,(most don't). I'd have to make the observation... that "Observation" in this case, isn't a virtue to whom ever wishes to link a little old lady ex School Teacher, to anyone else. I prefer to remain independent and an individual, as I display my own particular brand of wile and literary vigor. No offense to you "Chosen" But thank you though.

In as much as we here among this community forum seem to display less community over more forum, it isn't unreasonable to give or refuse credit to anyone willing to express an opinion regardless of it's popularity or not. I'm feeling much better about the civility of this particular group of common-place authors than I had in the past. By having this list of contributors at one's fingertips, to churn or calm the local and national political waters, I personally feel blessed and oft times intrigued over the seemingly relentless gaul and guile tossed about at times. It gives this old hen a reason to get up the next day at times. So with that I wish to thank each and every one of you and for those who must feel similarly.

Mathematics being one of my youthful strengths. It is especially interesting through it's inevitable aplication within economics. I would love to be twenty again. Then I could go back to my organization councillor and drop that one, because I have been aghast to hear.... yet again.....that the next president, should that be Obama, will turn our economic structure into his idealized notion......"Socialism." Lord of lords help us. How in GADZOOKS does anyone with even the tiniest mathematically functional brain not see how deeply hemmed into that moniker we have been since 2001? How does anyone look at the TRILLION dollar giveaway to the banking and Wall Street horde as anything but? If this disgusting mess is EVER to be cleaned up, we MUST free ourselves of the notion that we MIGHT be socialized and accept that we already have been.  And dear hearts, elect a candidate that actually sees the difference. (keeping in mind that both voted to help Wall Street first instead of helping Walnut Street first). That's why I wish I knew less about mathmatics and philosophy than I do about changing a tire these days.

Though I dearly love this nation. What if we were to isolate the entire country, drive/fight off all the ultra conservative, wealth and power-hungry politico, and create our own  society.............oh wait............. we did that 232 years ago................ it didn't work after all.??????????????????

God Bless.

lstreat - I do apologize for any trouble my posting has caused you. I like to discuss things and some here find that a bit much for a discussion site. They like to think I have multi user ID's when in fact they know I've only ever used one. Maybe two? But the was due to the crashing of a computer. Anyway I'm sorry you've been placed into the banter by some imature individuals.

Better days..........

Better days indeed, one way or another.

I thank you but I'm in no need of an apology from anyone. There hasn't been anything derogatorily catapulted in my way. I think that comparisons can be drawn in such a fashion from within the perspectives of many posters. Oh, there are times it seems so silly, the way folks get under each others skin. And, I sure don't wish to become some a "Scabie" among others. But, it was something we resisted years ago even though my educational background would seem to lend easily to the internet and computers as a whole. We did, we resisted it's advent and now? well my husband still refuses to touch one. But I digress.......what we had in the good old days, were community billboards, weekly fliers, editorials, and good old fashioned "pen-pals" My particular weakness in them days, was The party line. Gabby and glad to be; That was how it was. Only then we actually had voices and a three digit code. We didn't live IN St Louis, but not far from.........We came this direction due to a transfer under a corporate design requirement. The Mr. wasn't going to lose "a position" just HIS. Of course we then decided that we'd go where we must. Now retired and not well, nor am I, we are considering another move back down near Blytheville, Ark among the cotton rows where we started our journey. But as I set about to say, this has been a fine medium to both express, and learn. We have seen and dealt with many a good sort in this area and we are both very pleased to have been close by this community and within this state. Our two babies Girl and a Boy remained in St Louis, though we have been close as ever thanks to......... more than any technology, this "COMPUTER."  Phone tag, hard to write letters, and those occasional holiday visits got tougher to achieve. So again, the computer seems to be about the best way to stay close.

I always heard what a nasty...... cold place Iowa was in the winter. Although the decade we have been up here has had it's challenges, it has been nothing close to what we feared. I do notmiss those darned armadillos though. Anyway..........with regard to the comparison(s)? Derek, our son made a suggestion. I don't know if he's gotten it right, but he thinks that anyone wishing to detect a double "Life" within these community texts, need to perform a "Properties" scan? I'm not so inclined, therefor couldn't care less...but from reading many responses to this or that, there are perhaps a few who might be. If that works it might clean the air so to speak. It's been a real pleasure for me to be able to check myself and get challenged now and then. While being so engaged, it's easy to see that many folks feel roughly the same way. There too, are those with nearly identical perspectives, and although that may be the case, it could also be easily noticed that when one pours out their souls among the fray, it is difficult to be two different people. I even noticed that one accused another of a particular duality at a time when at nearly exact same time, a posting had been made in two different arguments. So........"along came Jim" with twenty fingers and four arms.......... Silly. Derek has an antagonistic buddy, (known him most his life) who just adores digging into the opposite side of an argument that HE would not endorse. He just likes to get the blood of dissension pumping, then sit back and watch the fracas ensue.

I'll not dive into a political pond this evening, but as the seasons change, so does this election's bullet points. Monday will be a strange news-day, and this "old bird" needs to rouse early to catch a few lost worms in the AM. Good night all.

God Bless
