Last Thursday, went to the Shell sation to fill up with E-85, is ALWAYS 70-80 cents cheaper than Ethanol. Drove 10 miles to get to the gas station. E-85 was $2.59, figured I'd be getting it for $1.80 or so. Was 3 cents HIGHER than at Yocums' on Lucas (Ethanol). Got RIPPED 3 times! 1: E-85 ws higher than straight ethanol. 2: Had to drive 20 miles round trip to get it! 3: I get from 6 to 9 miles to the gallon LESS with E-85, than I do with straight Ethanol! Don't know who to complain to, but, I didn't EVEN get kissed! Guess that was my LAST shot at E-95. IF E-85 is around 40 cents CHEAPER than Ethanol, EVEN with losing 9 mpg, you're making out. Paying 3 cents MORE per gallon, and, you just took it in the shorts. Oh well, hope EVERYBODY had a good weekend. Iowa won, my Vikings lost, who would've thunk! See ya......Tom.
