Well,

Once again, once again, some of Muscatines' "finest" little bast..ds were out again last night on the prowl, stealing Halloween decorations, smashing pumkins on our front steps (not our pumkins), knocking over flower pots, and generally having a good time.  Every year we put out decorations for people to enjoy, and, every year some, or all, of them get stolen/destroyed.  Now, the smart answer is to quit putting them out.  Our answer is that maybe it won't happen again this year (when we put them out).  At LEAST we have new decorations EVERY year, and obviously, so does SOMEONE else!  I just LOVE supporting someone else (especially someone whom I may not know)!  But it probably is someone that I DO know!   Oh well, I just LOVE being retired and being able to keep the economy strong.  It'd be great if I could booby trap these things, and scare the hell out of these fine folks, but then, I guess I'd just as soon not have to carry $1,000,000  worth of liability insurance just in case one of these little "darlings" got hurt while ransacking my private property.  Have a GREAT day neighbors, and, have a nice Sunday with this beautiful weather.  Tom.

Hi Tom. Sorry to hear of your vandalism but it's just the "trick or treat" concept taken to it's extremes.

Ya, I guess Nedl, BUT, upon further investigation (in the light), I noticed that they removed, not stole, our political signs in the front yard.  STOLE my grand daughters Pom sign, tomatoed MY brand new car, wrote BITCH on the side of my car (parked RIGHT next to the neighbors SUV).  Didn't touch his SUV, my wifes' Van, parked RIGHT in front of MY car, my NEXT DOOR neighbors political signs (within 15 feet) weren't touched!  Luckily, they used "window chaulk" on my car, AND, it wiped off, BUT, I don't know what the tomatoes are going to do to the paint job.  Luckily, there's dew all over the car, so maybe, it'll just wash off!  I wonder IF I should turn it into the police, my insurance company, or what!  It'd come out of my deductible, so, might as well forget the insurance company!  I think that I WILL call the police though!  Pisses me off, that they OBVIOUSLY targeted ME for their prank!  Believe me, I'M NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!  Thanks Nedl, for your thoughtfullness!  Tom Milder.

I would notify the police. It sounds like a personal vendetta.
