Unless the rules changed last week while I slept, they have to file a federal return. But I'd rather they ALL took a wonderfully refreshing pay-cut. The candidate that pulls that one outta thier hat just might win.

As i agree wholeheartedly with you. Asking capital hill to take a pay cut is like asking our politicians to become honest! Its a wonderful notion, but unfortunately very unlikely to happen.

Since our elected officials are paid, that makes them "our" employees. Its funny that our "emploees" make more than we do. I say we fire them all! Maybe Ross Perot is looking for work! Sorry i just had to throw that in there.

I wished i had been able to get around better today i would have loved to gone to davenport to see mccain.

" I know those old phrases could apply to some or others, or even McCain and or Obama; Birds of a feather flock together......you lay with dogs you get up with fleas.......you can lead a horse to water but cannot make it drink or "vote for a bill" hehe.....but seriously, did either of these men neglect thier jobs or consort under crooked darkness(bribes/ scandal) Did anyone here, play a major role in our current depressive finacial condition? Can we depend on either to lead with integrity and a dignity that "We The People" must finally get from our elected leaders?   Not...."

it would be like sticking a pencil in your eye, it does not matter which one you choose, because it will still hurt! both have skeletons in the closet but lets forget about that because i am sure they have completely changed. C'mon they are crooked and should be ran out of this country. well this one is a little better then that one, does it matter if the hole in your tire is a little smaller then that hole in the other tire, because you still have two flats. they both suck they will not do for this country or for the people of this country. yet everyone of you will vote for one or the other, even though we all know that voter fraud is a major problem! we need to quit voting for these crooked &%$#@*^ !

I have been meaning to get to my national archives facsimile and do a bit of more indeapth research to find some form of common sense there. So far outside of petitioning congressionally, I have drawn a blank at our firing any of these lifers.

I just saw a bit ago that he was well recieved and did a great job bringing the campaign back to earth. Also that Iowans displayed themselves as a much saner collective than elsewhere. Hang in there, hope you're doing better.
