My attempt at humor is in poor taste seeing as how there were many diners in the building at the time. Things could easily have been much worse. I apologize for being so inconsiderate.

Besides, it's the North store. There is no East.

I would think that now, would be the perfect opportunity for them to build on their land, right across from Wal-Mart, with that Jungle-Bungle and all!  A couple of years ago, the owners grandson told me that the price of the property was right, so they purchased it, but, relocating to the new property wasn't.  Maybe now is.  Sounds by the paper, that the bldg. isn't a total loss.  Guess we'll just have to wait and see what they do.
