Hey Chosen, it ain't gonna happen no matter how you wish for it or how many bogus stories you dig up.

Because many of us believe and perceive the evidence is strong enough that Bush was the biggest crook that has ever taken office. That his lies and cowardice have led to many deaths and usurpations of our laws. And we would not like to see him get away with it. Would like to show future Presidents that they will be held accountable for their actions and the actions of those that they appointed to key positions.

And I can't speak for anyone else but for me. If Obama gets elected and he does even a 1/4 of the things Bush has done. I will be calling for his head as well. Not everyone is as partisan as you might think.

Even though I don't believe Bush will be impeached, I certainly agree with the statement above.

Another new book on sale, huh, davie? Wonder why such honorable people wait until their "information" is packaged for sale before bringing to the public, or to Congress, of the FBI for that matter?

Of course, this is more hype over old information. Another author playing Dan Rather...oh yea...Dan Rather...I remember...lost his job over his faked letter.

I thought you just asserted that someone else on this board let sleeping dogs lie in another post!

I particularly like the paragraph on governance of the CIA and what the CIA cannot do....especially since that is what they do every single day.

Ron Suskind? Questionable, at best.

Nigel Inkster CMG

Nigel Inkster Director of Transnational Threats and Political Risk

Responsibilities: Analysis of international political risk and development of programmes on counter terrorism, international crime, proliferation of CBRN, cross-border conflict and other transnational/global issues.  Nigel is also responsible for the IISS Armed Conflict Database.

Background: Nigel Inkster served in the British Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) from 1975 to 2006.  He was posted in Asia, Latin America and Europe and worked extensively on transnational issues.  He spent seven years on the Board of SIS, the last two as Assistant Chief and Director for Operations and Intelligence.  He is a Chinese speaker and graduated in Oriental Studies from St John's College Oxford.  Inkster says:

"Mr Suskind appears to have conflated separate conversations; one about the problems of reading Saddam Hussein's intentions, an issue which is dealt with in the Butler report, and one about Habbush. I made it clear to Mr Suskind that I was in no position to comment on the substance or significance of any dealings with the latter since I had not been privy to the detail of what had taken place, something Mr Suskind has chosen not to mention. And, in any event, I had made it clear to Mr Suskind, when first he approached me, that I would not divulge classified information to which I had had access during my time in government.

"Mr Suskind's characterisation of our meeting is more the stuff of creative fiction than serious reportage, and seeks to make more of it than the circumstances or the content warrented.
