It's a joke that goes like this

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old Texas rancher whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be president.

The old rancher said "Well, ya know Obama is a post turtle."

Not being familiar with that term the doctor asked him what a post turtle was. The old rancher said. "When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, well that's a post turtle."

The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face so he continued to explain. "You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he's up there and you just wonder what kind of a dumb a** put him up there to begin with."

Yes I heard that before, but about someone else. While I might agree with your rationale, it sheds no light on the growing popularity of Obama. Right now it appears that about 50,000,000 people have placed him on that post and even more would like to keep him there. Is McCain really that bad?

I don't think McCain is that bad, but a lot of people believe Obama will result in change in Washington and the way it's run. I don't see that happening no matter who's in there. Washington is Washington, it means money and lots of it for people and no matter what money makes the world go round as it does Washington.

The downside to that is it's OUR money. 

Hillary's gonna take away the nomination from Obama. Ol' wonder boy's gonna be sitting there by hisself wonderin "Wa hoppen"?
