You know what all this means?  It means that the EPA will say "If you want to pollute more then is allowed you will have to pay for the privilege."  As long as the EPA can collect a fee nothing will change.  Then GPC will build a taller smoke stack because  someone has the stupid idea that sending pollution higher in the air is the way to control it.

In talking with the DNR representatives at the evening meeting they held, I believe this has been what GPC has been doing for years.  Pay the find because it is cheaper than correcting the problem.   I think this is about to stop, they will have to address the issue.   The problem is that the EPA is slow, giving every company plenty of time.  While this is going on simply stated we are breathing bad air that will increase our possibility of death.

It appears they are going to first of all deny, then delay, then blame someone (MPW) else, then under their self delusion agree to make minimal changes, all with the goal of making money at anyone's expense other than themselves.

Meanwhile we keep breathing bad air.  Air that the 2.5 microns are the perfect size to become lodged in your lungs and cannot be removed.

Management of the owners of this discussion blog, MPW, is absolutely controlled by the polluting company.  They always have a "Board" member from their company, plus one from their Bank, plus one from their legal side.  Don't try to change it, they are bigger than all of us.
