A New Beginning For Me

Good Morning Neighbors,

I couldn't sleep so I am up and decided it was time to rejoin the neighborhood.  I found out I had forgotten my password and that surprised me but then again it has been a long time since I posted.  I tried to look at some of the posts but it is too time consuming.  I have noticed a lot of new names or are most of them old posters using another name?  Have things changed any?  Has this site become more civil and understanding of others?  I guess that does not really matter because I am going to try to start posting again anyway.  I have learned that I must face life headon and accept all that is thrust at me and just do the best I can.  That is the brave me talking.  In reality, it is easy to just crawl under a rock and hide.  I need to regain my footing in life since all that has happened and is happening is in someone else's hand.

I am not sure I even know how to post.  I had only posted a couple of times before so I hope this short message gets through as I am not sure I have enough resolve to attempt another post if this one does not take.  I do appreciate the friends I have made here and am grateful for all your support and emails we have shared.

Just remember "if the world didn't suck, we would all fall off."

Welcome back!!

No I guess things haven't changed much. A couple new names, Bigbrother is still himself, I'm still myself, and Nedl is......... well several people. :laughter:

Humor aside it's good to see you around and posting.

Peace

Welcome back!  Since they changed the format of this board, the posters have been dwindling a lot.  There just isn't a lot of activity on this board anymore.  It's really too bad!  Have a GREAT day, and, again, welcome back.  Maybe you'll bring some fresh thoughts to our neighborhood.  Tom Milder.

Welcome back.  Hope all is well with you.

I fall in with those who don't really like this new format, but don't really know if that's the reason for the lack of participation.  Gone are the days of the post that gets 80 or 90 responses.  The few that are here still do a pretty good job of representing society.  There are the good, the bad, and those that fall in between.  There are those who think they have all of the answers, but actually have few.  And there are those who really have the answers but don't even realize how incredibly bright they are.

Hoping to hear much more from you.
