What you and others conveniently seem to forget, davie, while you are doing backflips over judiciary-hearings excitment, is, that for an impeachment to occur, there must first be a conviction for treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. Period. We don't and can't impeach because we don't like war, or his policies, or how the man talks.
Only then can the fight towards impeachment happen. And though we hear the I-word continuously out you and other whackos....not one person is saying or doing anything towards filing of those criminal charges. There is not even enough time left in Bush's presidency to get even one charge through a congressional trial; let alone impeachment after that.
It's sad that all this dallying/dancing effort of jumping through hoops and doing the dog and pony shows with Friday hearings is being paid for by us taxpayers. All for naught. No criminal charges equals no trial, no trial equals no conviction, no conviction equals no impeachment trial, no I-trial equals no impeachment!
Do you also happen to know why Kucinich was "allowed" his hearing on a Friday? That's the day everyone leaves DC for the most part and do not have to take issue or vote on the matter.
You have been talking that impeachment was coming for years now, davie. But not once have you ever posted that anyone was pursuing the necessary criminal charges needed for conviction and then impeachment.
Funny how the congressional legal system in place is what is defeating your long held dreams. Sorry.
