To Coaches Schuur and Aguero and the Muskie Girls Softball Team on their fantastic win over Burlington to send them to STATE!

I do think we need to send the girls off in style, and that a ton of people show up to wish them well when they leave for Ft. Dodge!

Way to go, girls!

I really have not followed them, but they sure have done a great job.

Another trip to state for the most successful athletic program at our high school.  Credit should go many places....to the coaches and staff, to the hard-working kids, to the parents who do all of the travelling, and to the coaches and volunteers who give the players such great learning experience in ASA and league softball.  It still amazes me to drive through Kent-Stein on a week night in the summer and see so much of our community there.

And despite all of the posts to the contrary here,  I commend our local newspaper and radio station for the great coverage.  I wonder how many cities in our conference can boast about radio coverage of games.
