no connections of recent past - maybe late 80's tho' -
the only "recent" doings (and that was in mid 90's) I had was when Gary (PD) was still there. A leftover from the "PLUS". Dunno whatever happened to him.
learned about Audio Vault from him - wonder if they are still using that on air software? A nice learning curve - not steep. Easy to pick up. There is a piece of software on the net that might as well have been a rip off of Audio Vault called BBox v2. I have a copy on a dedicated machine I use as a Jukebox. Works Very well.
Either way, a body can find out about any station recent ratings from here:

There's only so much over processed, over modulated, over compressed Optimod regurgitated crap on the radio a body can stand before looking for alternative means of radio programming. Free Form Radio is slowly re-gaining ground insome markets as a alternative to what's already out there. Free Form is not new, just went into hibernation in the early 90's and is just in the past 10 years starting to regain traction. I do find a trend of LPFM stations gaining traction in other markets rating wise. That comes as no surprise. Once upon a time, you didn't have to look at the radio dial to see what station you tuned in. You KNEW by the way it sounded. THAT's what made a station Unique!
Some day, big station owners will wake up and smell the leftover coffee grounds and it will be too late them.
