You're a dumbass..your customers come in for a break from the grind of work.  You don't wait on people on the tables, but yet have a tip jar by the food register. That's not service and your wrong I don't come to your dump. Walt went out of his way to make sure his customers were happy... Your wife is a jerk. Learn how to spell and how to treat your customers. When you, your wife & mom have a crappy day don't pass it to your customers. My Biker Night pals will continue to go to Ducky's.. get a clue. They actually cook food not just fry premade crap.

First of all the dumbass is you to assume I am a man, or the owner. I never implied that so assuming makes you the ass. Also the owner does not have a wife, know your information before posting. Most of the menu is NOT fried but grilled. The tip jar is there for the teenagers in the back cooking your food, just an added extra. We don't expect people like you to appreciate any kind of service therefore tip. As for the spelling, I am an excellent speller, not so good of typer. But I am not going to justify myself to you. I am glad that you stay on the opposite side of the river for your needs and I hope that you continue to do so.

Charthouse/LightHouse what's in a name. It's the place, people and food that makes it all right.

We have been going there for years: Walt now  the Tim era and I must say everyone is always very friendly. The staff speaks and takes care of your needs. Tim is always working the crowd checking on everyone and every thing.

No the food isn't the Radisson or the Hilton but you sure can't beat the price and VALVE FOR THE FRIDAY NIGHT TWO (2) CATFISH DINNER, choice of tator and slaw. Match that with the river view, all the people and cold pitcher of your favorite brew it's really, really nice.

I always throw a couple bucks into the tip jar just for good cause. That's not even a gallon of gas now a days.

As for it being a dump I don't see it. I call it river rustic, casual, and down right relaxing.

"Ducky's" ??? it's not a dump nor a dive but it sure ain't no Lighthouse in regards to friendliness, atmosphere, view, and yes the food. If you are not a local well they don't act like they want you there. Yes I've been to Duckys several times over the years.

Seem's to me Ducky's also has a tip jar and they don't wait on the tables either. At least Lighthouse wipes the tables off and removes the trays if the customer don't.

Stay over there and don't come across the bridge no more. We are happy. You are happy.
