I found this in my wanderings and C&P'D it, complete with spelling errors. I found it interesting, probably because I agree with most, if not all of it.
I was wondering, as I do on frequent occasions when I should be doing something more productive, what would America look like if liberal politicians, and those Americans who agree with that philosophy, had total control and thus could implement any changes they saw fit (ah, perhaps 2009, do you think?).
Well, I think a lot of well intended social programs would develop, welfare rolls would grow, entitilements would expand with less accountability, projects would be given to those groups that cooperated instead of those groups that demonstrate they have a solution. Unreal proeblems will drive all programs (global warming) and real problems will continue to swell.
I see groups of low income havenots on the government entitlement programs coming to increased unrest at being unhappy with what they have been given as the money runs out... I see the middle class whos buying power is dwindled by having to pay the living of the have nots/refuse to worknots.
Universal healthcare will come to pass with the ability to take care of everybody in medicority at best, and the ultra rich, who have to bear the burden of both the middle class and the havenots/refuse to worknots... it will not cover everything, the solution will be to tax things that they well meaning socialist scientists think causes the increase in healthcare issues, like hoagie sandwiches for fat poeple.
The gevernment will be into mega reasearch which will be very invasive to personal privacy, oh they wont take an individual name dont worry, but they will have your number thats for sure!
We will become increasingly isolationistic as we dwindle every penny possible away form the military and into the vast entitelments and social programs that the liberals want and need to appease the lower to middle class in order to sustain their powerbase.
With the liberals comes the continued threat of alleged overpopulation, less indiginous americans are born, or killed by increasing approval of abortion, immigration will be expanded to make up for the dwindling indiginous population.
All sorts of deviant behavior will be condoned, and rewarded, and it will eventually and completely destroy our society. Freedom will be a long lost ideology, there will be mass integration of government and society. INstead of the US being a nation that stands alone as a world power we will eventually need to make deals which will reduce our soveringhty and we will meld more into a world government giving up our coveted constitution ans personal freedom for an invasive government bent on 'taking care of us' but really only giving us very little of what we could have been had we worked with pride in ourselves to earn it.
Opportunity would dwindle, freedoms would end, and the stifling government who controls each of us by the great and mighty conditional hondout will prevail. If we arent takEN over by another government or bombed when our military is weak for all the allEged atrocities we get accused of in the past we will eventually crash form with in as the havenots/refuse to worknots anarch over not getting enough of thier 'fair' share of free government assistance.
