This mornings T-storm got me rema...rema...thinking about old times. I was just cruising the Machlink homepage and there's an ad there from MPW. It tells you not to get zapped and there's a storm cloud with lightning bolts flashing from it. We've all seen it, I suppose. Has anyone clicked on it to read more? It's a plug for total house surge protection. Does anyone have it. It sounds like a good idea...but there's a disclaimer there about how it doesn't protect against lightning strikes. Too much juice, I suppose...so why the ad with the lightning bolts? If it doesn't protect against lightning strikes to your house, then why give the impression that it does? Two weeks after my house was hit by last years tornado (aka Fruitland Funnel) my house was struck by lightning...fried everything...furnace, computer, well pump...Everyone told me that I should have had my house protected...with the whole house surge protection deal from MPW...but I probably would have been paying them for a burnt up surge protection system. On a more positive note...I don't take the lord's name in vain...unless I'm in my Mother in Law's house.
