What topics would you like Mr. Kopf to write about?
My topics are:
1. More on the restaraunts in Musc. I loved the piece you wrote LJS. Too much grease in the food for anybody's take (my quote, but Ryan warned dieters).
2. more on what the kids in Musc do. (Not only the "A" students or the athletes). Like kids who are in bands. Many of the kids who play band shows, do it for charity (like band shows for food drives, or bennefits for people who need money for hospital bills, or for people who have passed and they want to donate in their memory.)
I think a lot of people look at these band kids and frown, but they do not realize just how much good in the world they do.
3. MHS-I would love Mr. Kopf to write about a piece from the poorer/nclb point a view. I would like him to invesigate why so many parents pull their children from MHS and place them in other schools, like Wilton or L&M.
4. Animal abuse: It is horendous (sp) in this town. Mr. kopf, as well as others would be shocked and disgusted.
5. Single fathers raising their children. More than you even know. Kudos.
6.Why isn't there a skating rink for kids? A dance hall for kids? A better theater for kids? A mall? etc.... and people wonder why their kids are on drugs in Musc.
7.When Hon donates (literally) TONS of food at Christmas time, does it stay in Muscatine?
8. The Muscatine hospital. nuff said.
9. Why doesn't Muscatine recycle?
10. Why all of a sudden does the city care where people put their yard sale signs? Give me a break.
