Well, pass the word around! LOL - I just do not want to see Ryan or White win the election.  They are both snakes in the grass.

You give no valid reason to vote for another candidate other than you have some misgivings about these two individuals.  Unless something has changed the Sheriff HAS full control over the Sheriff's Department, the Chief Deputy runs the operation if the Sheriff is not available for some reason.  So even if your feeling that these two have some kind of alternative reasoning for running is valid what benefit would that give them?

 

Now about the other candidates.  I am familiar with them all except Wade but then he hasn't been there long enough to be known, which brings me to question what his qualifications are.  Brewer was Snyder's Chief Deputy and that was a disaster.  Draper has never accomplished anything with the department.

 

Now back to the original posting.  I believe that if Ryan and White were Sheriff and Cheif Deputy the department would be in great shape.  They bring a lot of experience and accomplishments to the department.  Hard for me to believe that someone would question this being a good combination.  Ryan has made a difference by making this county a much safer place by getting rid of a lot of dope and dopers, White has taken down a lot of welfare defrauders.

 

Give me some valid reasons to believe in your candidate and I may give them a look but for now either Ryan or White are the best choice in my book.  I realize that when your emotional about something answering that last question is difficult and this post will most likely not get any valid answers but it's worth a shot.

Sorry but I lean toward White AT THIS TIME. The reason?

White would like the concealed carry laws standardized. Draper, however, believes concealed carry permits should be granted by the Sheriff because face to face conversations tell you more about people. Wade and Brewer also agree with Draper. CJ Ryan, is also a "big believer in local control."

I believe in standardized carry laws. Otherwise, only "good ole' boy" buddies of sheriffs get permits. That would be "local control".

Lol Nedl. I recognize that paragraph! Glad to see people are reading and keeping up on these things.
