You must LOVE the Chinese then, you work for walmart.

Nedl, NOT EVERYTHING that Wal-Mart sells, comes from China!  You MIGHT note buddy, that there ISN'T an American Company that sells an electronic device (TV's, stereos, IPods, cellphones, etc.).  Look at the ads for Ford motor cars now....They're comparing THEIR quality, to the quality of Toyota (no national TV).  Now that's sad, isn't it!  Price AND quality, that's what the American public wants today.  Don't blame Sam Waltons' vision on how Americans shop today.  Wal-Mart didn't DIRECTLY make Wal-Mart the biggest retailer/employeer world-wide!  I'll tell you what....I worked for/retired from, the City of Muscatine for 30+ years, and then went to Wal-Mart (full time), for the insurance benefits!  IF, I would have stayed with the Citys' insurance plan, it would have cost me $1032/month.  Wal-Marts' insurance, is CONSIDERABLY cheaper than that a (and, just as good!).  To pay that $1032, would have been  half of my retirement check!  AND, the City thought WONDERS of offering me insurance (they're self-insured) at that rate!  I understand, now that I've been retired for almost 2 years, that the $1032 has gone up!  Wal-Mart is a GREAT Company to work for!  ALL you have to do is show up, and ACTUALLY do something, and you get along JUST FINE!  The problem today, is finding someone who is willing to show up (on a consistant basis), be able to pass the drug test, and ACTUALLY do SOMETHING while they're there!  But then, the work ethnic is different for a 60 year old, than it is for a 20 year old.  Believe me, I've worked for companies that were a LOT worse than Wal-Mart!  Have a NICE day, buddy!  Tom.
