So, what does everyone think about the possibility that our city administrator (A.J. Johnson) may be moving on to take a job with Iowa City?

It sounds like you do not live in the city limits of Muscatine.

As I see it most city Administrators are constantly looking for a larger City to get a increase in salary. That is the name of the game because every one wants a larger salary. Human nature.

I say don't  let the door hit where the good lord split ya on the way out A.J. Wonder if this city will try to do without the admins. job? I believe Clinton did this a couple of years ago. Suppose Randy Hill will want or try to get the admins. job, even though he doesn't feel the need to live within the county, let alone the city. I'd say from the list in the journal the other day, the city could stand a little reduction in the salaries for a few of their employees. I got to wonder how many other cities with our population are paying those kind of salaries?????
