I think you need to have the ability to do background checks or something.... otherwise you're liable if they wind up in the wrong hands someday.

I have not seen any restrictions on "for sale" or "wanted to buy" items in NL's terms of use.  I would caution you about selling a firearm and being a responsible seller.  A private party sell (in Iowa) does not require the same as a dealer sale so you are not restricted to the same checks and balances.  I personally am not or would not be comfortable with selling a firearm to unknown people such as in a public forum. 

 

  I sold one about 15 years ago with the requirements at that time being I had to keep the buyers name, address, gun make, and model, plus the date of sale. I was told by the Sheriffs office that I had to keep  this information indefinitely in case the gun was used in a crime to prove that it was not mine because when I bought it new it was registered to me.

 I would check with the Sheriffs office because things could have changed a lot since then.
