I am Tom's daughter and I just wanted to take a minute to let everyone know he is doing fantastic. He is such an amazing man - his strength and determination is endless. We have yet to hear him complain about the long weeks he's had to endure hospitalized.
It has been an emotional ride we have been on these past 12 years -especially the last 7 months. We just don't know where we would be without the love, support and prayers of this community - we are so very grateful to you Muscatine.
If you have ever had the opportunity to meet my father you know what a great man he is - always ready to listen, talk, joke and enjoy the moment. So you can only imagine what he means to all of us - he is our rock.
Through the power of prayer and strong faith this family now knows what it feels like to be touched by the hand of God and to have been kissed by an angel......a very, very special angel. God bless each and every one of you who prayed for our miracle.
And to my mother..... your devotion knows no end and your love knows no bounds. You kept us all going with your strength and faith. You have made so many sacrifices and never batted an eye about it. Bless your sweet heart mom.
