In addition to these above comments I also have a couple of my own.

1. From whom did you receive verification of the victim?

2. Did you know that HIS family (parents) were not notified until about 9pm that Friday night?  Even accident fatalities the withhold the names pending notification.

 

Just a few thoughts. Keep up the news hounding

 

 

 

Ah, I tried not to post names until I knew they were released to the families - I left it out until the Journal put it online first (I did have it beforehand, however).

Thanks for the note about the address - I have pictures of the house, even, I must have been typing too fast (my fingers were cold numb when I got to my desk, I could barely type).

I was told by the Corderoni that two shots were fired at the officers. I doubt they were muscatine police - I saw the sniper weapons - one guy was on the roof of a garage if I remember correctly.... if you're ontop of a building with a rifle I'm classifying you as a sniper.

As for your comment "I doubt they were Muscatine Police"....the Muscatine Police Department does have a SWAT or Speacial Response Team. That team DOES have snipers. I do believe they did respond to this special emergency call.

I guess I mean I doubt they were the regular patrol officers you'd see every day. But thanks for the info, I'll keep note.
