Don't make this a progressive vs. conservative argument - we all know the conservative republicans are the ones who like guns and start wars.
The parents of these children need to be individually thrown in a cell with 7 parents of abuse victims like this, and get the snot beat out of them. Parents these days.

That is absolutely correct. No doubt about it and the fact has never been hidden. If it could be considered an open secret it is only because the Democrats knew full well what the plan was from the beginning and for political purposes refused to debate or attack it. How could they not know? Are they not on every committee?
