Muscatine

 

 

I will be hosting a Freesbe/Disc golf tournment on July 21st 2008. The event will be for Childrens Mircle Network. (AKA CMN) It will be held in Washington Iowa at 10am.

It is my hope to have about 60 contestants. There will be two classes, novice and amateur. Trophies and prizes will be awarded in both classes.

Serious side? Seriously; why would anyone solicit Muscatine area folks down to Washington for disc golf when it could be held at Fuller park IN Muscatine, which boasts an 18 "hole" 6500 foot long course on some 65 acres that opened in October of 2006? And then...on a Monday morning?

Afterall; Muscatine has about three times the population.

What is it that folks are not being told?

  Maybe Washington has an "ideal" disc course when Muscatine has an "idol" course.  Or maybe choosen has been joking all along and is now serious, or maybe choosen is a jokester and is faking us out with his previous posts. Or maybe, just maybe choosen is just passing along info and forgot to add the contributor--he has been known to do that before--when he was jokeing I guess.

 

 

Sorry folks, my bad. It will be held on June 21st 2008 on a Saturday. It is a event to benefit CMN. I've posted here in hopes of getting the word out to the disc golf players of the area that may want to participate.
